“I started hypnotherapy with Heather as I have struggled with anxiety for 6-7 years. Prior to sessions I could keep my anxiety under control a lot of the time but sometimes it hit me hard and I would go into a downward spiral of having panic attacks, not being able to sleep, and going off my food, making me feel worse and I was stuck in this cycle for a while.
Within sessions Heather helped me to understand the brain better and how sleep and anxiety are interlinked. I now feel better equipped to change my mindset to have a more positive outlook and now list positive things that have happened in the week to help me. "I have been totally aware for many years I have been overthinking every situation I have found myself in, ranging from simple conversations, to relationships with others. I had no confidence which manifested into anxiety which was impacting my life greatly.
I decided to access hypnotherapy in the hope I could eventually be given the tools to help myself. From the very first session I have progressed. “Prior to starting hypnotherapy I was sceptical , however at this point I was willing to try anything as other methods had proven unsuccessful for me. Week by week as I began to learn more about the brain and put strategies in action, I could see a change in my mindset and began to focus on the positives rather than the negatives, which therefore had a positive influence on my anxiety.
Heather worked really well with me throughout each session, encouraging me to focus on the solutions rather than the problems, and helping me to feel comfortable to fully engage. Each week Heather would link my current state to previous sessions to highlight my progress!

“Prior to my smoking cessation session I had smoked since I was the age of 16, and was spending roughly £2000 a year on cigarettes. I had previously given up smoking when I was pregnant, but as soon as stress hit or there was a social event I would find myself smoking again, but I was ready to kick the habit.
After my session with Heather I managed to not smoke for a week. I went to have a cigarette a week later but after two puffs it made me feel sick and I put it out instantly. I have not smoked since. I am amazed at how the session and relaxation audio has supported me to break the habit.”
